FSC Chain-of-Custody
Beclau is the first Australian timber furniture maker to achieve FSC Chain
of Custody certification. This guarantees that the
timber used to make our furniture is sourced from a well managed forest with
minimal impact on the environment or
local populations.
We also import our own range of solid FSC timbers not available elsewhere
in Australia. Our current stock includes: European
Oak, European Black Oak, French Walnut, Sycamore, and European Ash. Click

Furniture made with FSC certified timber will receive full points under Mat-11
Sustainable Timber credits in Green Star.
Our FSC accreditation also means that joinery items made by Beclau are eligible
for Mat-11 Sustainable Timber.
